Further update on GPDPR Posted or Updated on 22 Nov 2023

Please refer to the previous news post for full details of GPDPR - however, the practice has received a letter from the Parliamentary under Secretary of State for Primary Care and Health Promotion - Jo Churchill, which states that they "continue to work on the infrastructure, and communication for the project, but they are not setting a start date for the collection of data."

This means that the previous timescale of 1st September to register an opt out no longer applies - the whole project is paused until further notice. We will of course register opt outs received (see previous post for how to do it) but there is now no urgency for anyone to do anything.

We will of course provide a further update if and when received.
