Swine Flu Vaccination. (Update as at 24th December2009.)
Further limited supplies of vaccine have been received. In accordance with the Department of Health Instructions, the following have been called:
Priority Group 1 - 6 months to 65 years in a clinical risk group
Priority Group 2 - Pregnant women - please contact the surgery and ask reception to pass your details to me if you have not had your vaccination yet.
Priority Group 3 - patients of all ages with a compromised immune system.
Priority Group 4 - over 65 in a clinical risk group.
Most of priority group 4 have been called to the vaccination clinics due to be held 7th January, pm at both surgeries. (Letters will be going out to the remaining members of this group week commencing 29th December so should arrive by 4th January)
If you have been called for a previous clinic but were unable to attend, please come to the session on the 7th January.
Only those who have been identified and invited are eligible to have the vaccine at this stage.
Details of the vaccination programme for children 6 months to 5 years are being finalised and will be released by New Year. Details will follow.
